Job summary

Lynntech, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to develop custom hardware, firmware, and integrated electrical systems for prototype products across defense, aerospace, and medical markets.

Role involves leading multidisciplinary development, mentoring engineers, and contributing to proposal writing. Candidates should have strong PCB, DFx, and system verification skills and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electrical Engineering or related field with ≥5 years of progressively complex engineering experience (or Masters with ≥2 years).
• Strong fundamentals in electrical, electronics, and software engineering with the ability to review and provide feedback on peers' designs.
• Experience designing electronic hardware and embedded systems, including circuit design, PCB development, power management, component selection, and integration of sensors, actuators, and control electronics.
• Ability to mentor a team of junior engineers, and autonomously facilitate design decisions in a collaborative environment
• Strong technical writing, speaking, and presentation skills
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident to meet contract requirements

Responsibilities

• Design electrical system architecture and integrate custom electronics with off‑the‑shelf components.
• Develop system wiring diagrams, cable/wire-harness designs, and power management architecture.
• Design and model schematics for analog and digital circuits.
• Design and test custom PCBs for analog and digital applications.
• Create firmware implementations for testing fixtures, prototypes, and products.
• Advance prototype electrical systems toward reproducible product designs with DFx practices.
• Lead design engineers in early-stage research to support system requirements and interfaces.
• Develop and execute test plans to evaluate prototype performance against requirements.
• Fabricate test fixtures for evaluating prototypes from breadboards to MVPs.
• Plan and conduct system design verification and validation activities.
