Job summary

Serco invites experienced electrical engineers to join our NSWC PCD program onsite in Panama City, FL. You will lead mixed-signal hardware design, from microcontrollers to power management, with emphasis on signal & power integrity and EMI/EMC compliance.

Responsibilities include creating detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and lab bring-up. You will document designs, maintain BOMs, and validate hardware with rigorous test plans across the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Masters degree will be considered in lieu of 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of mixed-signal hardware systems including microcontrollers and power management.
• Create detailed schematics and perform complex PCB layouts using industry-standard tools.
• Ensure adherence to signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Implement microprocessors into designs using C/C++ and run tests (LTspice/Pspice).
• Assemble, test, and bring-up hardware prototypes and verify against specs.
• Develop hardware test plans including thermal and reliability testing.
• Troubleshoot issues to component level and maintain engineering docs (BOMs, schematics).
