Job summary

Serco seeks an Experienced Electrical Engineer to support NSWC programs onsite in Panama City, FL, with a focus on mixed-signal hardware, embedded microcontrollers, and full lifecycle development.

You will lead schematic capture and PCB layout, ensure EMI/EMC compliance, and perform tests and bring-up of hardware prototypes. Candidates need an Interim Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded hardware design experience.
• Clearance: Active Interim Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Experience with mixed-signal hardware and full lifecycle development.
• Proficiency with common embedded communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet, USB).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of mixed-signal hardware systems including microcontrollers and power management.
• Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts with industry tools.
• Ensure signal integrity, power integrity and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Implement microcontrollers using C/C++ and run test simulations (LTspice, PSpice).
• Assemble, test, and bring up hardware prototypes; document results.
