Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in Round Lake, IL, is seeking an experienced hardware design engineer to develop embedded devices for infusion systems. You will design analog/digital circuits, prototype, and verify against regulatory requirements, documenting designs accordingly.

You will collaborate with manufacturing to improve yields and address obsolescence, perform DFMEA and risk analyses, and ensure compliance with medical device standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of hardware design experience, preferably in medical or regulated industry.
• Proficiency in analog/digital circuit design and experience with standard lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Document designs per regulatory processes.
• Support manufacturing to resolve production yield and obsolescence issues.
