Job summary

INFICON is seeking an Embedded/Electrical Engineer in Longmont, CO to support existing product lines and develop new hardware and firmware variants. You will own hardware and firmware design elements, coordinate with internal teams and customers, and contribute to test plans and production documentation.

The role requires 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, C/C++ embedded development, and familiarity with schematic capture/PCB layout. Travel is occasional and expected as needed.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years of product and tech development experience.
• Significant experience with firmware, software and hardware design; schematic capture and board layout using OrCad or similar.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems; hands-on hardware experience; RTOS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of current technologies and product lines; partner with Sales/Marketing to understand customer needs.
• Lead hardware and firmware development for new/variant products; collaborate with internal and customer teams.
• Serve as Project Engineer to ensure timely product launches and project milestones.
