Job summary

INFICON is seeking an Embedded / Electrical Engineer in Colorado to support existing products and develop new variants, collaborating with US and international teams. You will own hardware and firmware design, create technical documentation, test plans, and drive product launches. Travel 1–2 trips annually is expected.

Requires a MS/BS in EE with 4+ years of experience and strong C/C++ embedded skills, including RTOS. Competitive salary and 401K match.

Qualifications

• MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years of product and technology development experience.
• Significant experience with firmware, software and hardware design; Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with schematic capture and board layout; OrCad is preferred.
• Familiarity with RTOS and modern coding techniques; ability to develop tools and methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware and firmware for current and variant product lines; collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Lead project engineering on new and sustaining development projects to ensure on-time product launches.
• Prepare technical documentation, test plans and design docs for production and vendors.
• Work with Customer Service to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to identify and qualify vendors.
