Job summary

INFICON AG is seeking an Embedded / Electrical Engineer to support existing product lines and build new variants. You will collaborate with US and international teams to understand customer needs and move products through the development process.

The role covers hardware and firmware design, project engineering for launches, and documentation such as test plans and design docs. Travel of 1–2 trips per year is expected.

Qualifications

• MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years in product/tech development.
• Experience with firmware, software, hardware design and schematic capture (OrCad preferred).
• Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems; RTOS knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of current technologies and product lines; collaborates with Sales/Marketing to grasp customer needs.
• Works solo or in teams to develop new/variant products, owning hardware and firmware elements.
• Serves as Project Engineer on new/sustaining development projects to meet schedules.
