Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer - Embedded & Digital Hardware to lead development of next‑gen electro‑optical and sensing technologies. You will design, integrate, and validate complex embedded electronics through concept to production in a highly visible role.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to shape product architectures, tackle challenging problems, and ensure designs meet performance and reliability goals for demanding environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years designing complex digital hardware and embedded electronics.
• Experience with DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, SERDES, MIPI, UART, 1553 or similar.
• Strong debugging, validation, and board-level design practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management to define hardware roadmaps.
• Translate system requirements into robust hardware architectures.
• Design PCB assemblies using embedded processors, FPGA, and SoC tech.
• Collaborate with Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams.
• Develop schematics and participate in PCB reviews.
• Perform hardware bring-up, debug, and verification in lab.
