General Motors LLC is seeking a Senior Controls Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and release of Vehicle Interface Platform and SDV2.0 architectures within the EPSI/LVI domains. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline.
• 5+ years engineering experience related to embedded controls, calibration, integration, or software development.
• Skilled with software development in C, C++, and/or Python.
• Understanding of embedded controls development and delivery processes, including SAFe/Agile.
• Experience using embedded controls test assets (SIL, HIL, Vehicle) and tools (INCA, MDA, etc).
• Expert capability to capture and analyze data to verify system and feature performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of controls for complex low voltage features in embedded C and C++.
• Improve, enforce best practices, code efficiency and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Research and develop novel solutions to controls challenges.
• Collaborate to convert features into work items and define acceptance criteria.
