Job summary

Anode Technology Company seeks a Senior Embedded Controls Engineer to implement vehicle-level and system-level control strategies for a mobile battery energy storage platform. You will translate high-level requirements into production-ready embedded software.

Responsibilities include developing Simulink-based embedded software, leading prototypes through production releases, and collaborating with systems, electrical, and product teams to refine features.

Qualifications

• BS in Software, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of controls engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Simulink and C/C++.
• Experience with vehicle or energy system control.
• Working knowledge of CAN, serial, or similar protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop Simulink based Embedded Controls Software for a mobile battery system.
• See features through from prototype to production software release stages.
• Work with CAN, Modbus, and other automotive & industrial communication standards.
• Work with cross functional teams to define & refine feature definitions.
