Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Controls Software Engineer to lead the development, integration, and release of Vehicle Interface Platform and SDV2.0 architectures within the EPSI/LVI domain. You will design and implement advanced embedded control strategies for EVs, ICEs and GM portfolio, driving low voltage power, energy storage, and distribution capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline.
• 5+ years engineering experience related to embedded controls, calibration, integration, or software development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Python.
• Understanding of embedded controls development and delivery processes, including SAFE/Agile.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of controls for low voltage embedded features in C/C++.
• Research and develop novel solutions to controls challenges.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and calibration teams to ensure robust design.
• Verify functional performance through unit, SIL, HIL, and vehicle testing.
• Document IP and contribute to program events and artifacts.
