Qualifications

• Hands-on production C programming experience in embedded systems.
• Design, implement, and debug embedded software directly in C.
• At least 5 years of embedded software development experience.
• Experience with unit and integration testing for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of Git and Jira for version control and issue tracking.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test embedded control software using hand-coded C.
• Own software from architecture through testing and release.
• Build and maintain unit and integration tests with traceability.
• Ensure MISRA compliance and robust software quality.
• Contribute to Agile development (story breakdown, reviews, demos).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues.
• Influence technical decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices.
