Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Scientist to support scientific publication and medical writing for the Electrophysiology business. Based in Irvine, CA, the role collaborates with CSER and cross-functional teams to draft manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.

The ideal candidate has strong scientific writing skills, cardiovascular/electrophysiology knowledge, familiarity with publication standards, and 3+ years of experience; 6+ years is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in life sciences or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years in clinical publications within medical industry or related setting; research experience preferred.
• 3+ years in cardiovascular and/or electrophysiology areas preferred.
• Familiar with publication management platforms and reference software.
• ISMPP CMPP or AMWA MWC credentials preferred.
• Knowledge of electrophysiology procedures and terminology preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong project management to balance multiple projects.
• Experience with Good Clinical Practice and Good Publication Practice.
• 6+ years of scientific writing experience desired.

Responsabilidades

• Develop high-quality manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and podium presentations for peer-reviewed publications.
• Draft dissemination materials (summaries, graphic abstracts, newsletters, webpages) for internal/external audiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external physician authors to ensure accuracy and scientific integrity.
• Analyze and interpret clinical data; present in clear tables and figures.
• Coordinate document reviews, obtain approvals, and ensure timely submissions.
• Stay updated on cardiovascular/electrophysiology data and trends for content development.
• Support congress activities and dissemination of evidence to cross-functional partners.
