Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Scientist in Irvine, CA, to support scientific publication and medical writing for the Electrophysiology business. This role focuses on drafting manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and web content while coordinating with global teams and external authors.

The ideal candidate has strong cardiovascular/ electrophysiology knowledge, excellent scientific writing skills, and familiarity with regulatory publication standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred in Life Sciences, Physical Science, Nursing, Biological Science, or closely related field.
• 3+ years of direct involvement in clinical publications in a medical industry or related setting.
• 6+ years of scientific writing experience in a medical industry or related setting desired.
• 3+ years of cardiovascular and/or electrophysiology therapeutic areas experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver high-quality scientific manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and podium presentations for publication in peer-reviewed journals and major congresses.
• Draft dissemination materials (summaries, graphic abstracts, standard presentations, newsletters, webpages) for varied audiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external authors to ensure accuracy, alignment, and scientific integrity.
• Analyze and interpret clinical data; communicate data with well-structured tables and figures.
• Adhere to GCP, publication guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate document review, feedback, approvals, and timely submissions.
• Monitor emerging trends in cardiovascular and electrophysiology to inform content development.
• Stay updated with current data by monthly literature reviews and sharing insights with global teams.
• Support clinical booth congress activities and gathering of evidence for cross-functional partners.
