Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology seeks an Associate Director, Clinical Science & External Research to lead external research programs, trials, and post-market studies in Irvine, CA. You will drive evidence generation, publication planning, and scientific communications across international teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in clinical research and publication planning, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of GCP/ICMJE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years in clinical research, publication planning and writing.
• Experience leading teams in clinical research or evidence generation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to influence others.

Responsibilities

• Lead external research programs including clinical trials and post-market studies.
• Develop and execute publication plans with investigators and authors.
• Draft and edit scientific presentations and publications.
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders to support evidence generation strategy.
• Mentor CSER staff and manage project budgets.
