Job summary
Abbott is seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist in Electrophysiology (EP) to provide advanced engineering, sales, educational and clinical support for EP products. You will work with physicians and healthcare professionals, lead trainings, mentor junior staff, and help identify sales opportunities while staying current on developments in EP and regulatory requirements.
The role involves complex case support, regional coverage, and collaboration with sales to demonstrate product value.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (internal or external).
- IBHRE EP certified.
- Solely dedicated to EP support.
- Ability to mentor and train EP CS roles on complex mapping cases.
- Ability to conduct complex customer education events solo to sell the value proposition of the EP portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced engineering, sales, educational and clinical support for EP products.
- Lead trainings and programs on EP products for healthcare professionals.
- Mentor less experienced Clinical Specialists.
- Develop relationships with medical community and drive sales opportunities.
- Support regional EP procedural case coverage and back-up EP Sales staff.
