Job summary

SICPA Securink Corporation in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Senior Electronics Validation Engineer to verify sensor components and full systems. The role collaborates with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Services to ensure robustness, reliability, and adherence to customer requirements.

Responsibilities include planning and executing verification tests, supporting manufacturing changes, and leading failure analyses while communicating results to stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience developing test methods, performing validation tests, analyzing, and reporting data.
• Detailed understanding of the equipment applicable to electronics testing and validation activities.
• Understanding of laser safety and test methods.
• Knowledge of the application of statistics to electronics verification and validation activities.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting, debugging, and data analysis skills.
• Solid foundational knowledge of physics and material science.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Understanding of the full product lifecycle.
• Experience evaluating product and project risks using risk assessment tools such as FMEA.
• Ability to solve problems, gather facts, propose solutions, and communicate clearly.
• Organizational skills to manage project roadmaps and progress.
• Ownership and accountability for quality under schedule pressures.
• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years in developing, manufacturing or validation of electronic products.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Willingness to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support Design Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Technical Services in testing to prove functionality and reliability.
• Support Verification and Validation planning and execution for product qualification.
• Support Manufacturing in qualification of production materials and methods.
• Support Customer Technical Services with field verification and validation tests.
• Lead qualification, testing and failure analysis of sensor components and assemblies.
• Perform hands-on testing to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and propose improvements.
• Prepare technical reports, test plans, and change verification results.
• Build relationships across levels and influence without formal authority.
