Job summary

RTX is seeking an on-site Electronics Technician in Melbourne, FL. The role involves following blueprints, performing functional tests on electronic equipment, and documenting results.

You will work with tools and test equipment, ensure quality, and train others as needed. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or G.E.D with at least 1 year of related experience, AS in Electronics Technology is preferred, and familiarity with DMM/oscilloscope/signal generator/spectrum analyzer is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent (G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education with 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to meet specifications and tolerances.
• Performs functional testing per established procedures.
• Monitors tests, records data, and services test equipment.
• Documents acceptance or failure results.
• Uses basic hand/machine tools and electronic test equipment as required.
• Loads/unloads electronic equipment in test beds.
• Adheres to quality systems and participates in continuous improvement (ACE).
• Meets internal/external deadlines per team schedules.
• Trains others for technical tasks as needed.
