Job summary

Anode Technology Company seeks a Staff Test Engineer to lead DVP&R for the mBESS platform, partnering with mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams. You’ll manage UL certification efforts, external labs, and test programs, ensuring environmental and lifecycle testing aligns with standards.

You will define verification strategies, drive test planning, and produce robust, defensible reports to support regulatory submissions and product releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• 10+ years in product verification and reliability testing of complex electromechanical systems.
• Demonstrated ownership of DVP&R or equivalent verification programs.
• Experience guiding products through NRTL certification (UL, ETL, CSA, or equivalent).
• Hands-on environmental testing: shock, vibration, IP, thermal cycling, humidity.
• Experience scoping and managing work with external test labs.
• Excellent technical writing for verification plans, reports, and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the DVP&R for the mBESS platform.
• Serve as the primary UL certification stakeholder; manage the test plan and lab engagement.
• Plan and oversee environmental and mechanical testing.
• Design and lead accelerated life and reliability campaigns.
• Manage external test labs, scopes, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for full-system test coverage.
• Define production validation approach and ensure clean handoffs.
• Maintain regulatory listing readiness and traceability.
