Job summary

NewSpace Technical in Denver is seeking a Senior Electronics Test Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and implementation of test plans for board-level electronics, including power, digital, and RF sections.

The role requires strong hardware and software knowledge, experience with measurement techniques, lab equipment, test architectures, automation, and integrated hardware/software testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of industry or university research in electronic products or test systems.
• Experience designing and executing test plans for custom board-level electronics.
• Hands-on with lab instrumentation: Spectrum Analyzers, RF Generators, Vector Analyzers.
• Proficient with Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, SQL, Embedded C, or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop test architectures and systems, including equipment selection, test fixtures, data logging methodologies, and hardware/software interfaces.
• Design and execute tests across prototype, qualification, and acceptance stages.
• Develop test requirements for new electronic products.
• Design and execute tests for compliance with relevant aerospace and environmental standards.
• Plan and perform board-level verification, including high-speed signal integrity, digital link characterization, and power supply performance.
• Develop test software, tools, processes, and documentation; train technicians and operators.
