Job summary

NewSpace Technical in Westminster, CO is seeking a Senior Electronics Test Engineer to drive test architectures and automation across the full product lifecycle. You will design automated test systems, create test plans, and develop software to validate board-level electronics from prototype through production.

The role requires hands-on lab experience with spectrum analysers, RF generators and vector analyzers, plus Python, LabVIEW or MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years designing and implementing electronic test systems.
• Experience testing board-level electronics and automated test methods.
• Hands-on with lab equipment and test software.

Responsibilities

• Design automated test systems and architectures.
• Create test plans, procedures and validation methodologies.
• Develop software for hardware interfaces and automated test equipment.
• Design reusable and scalable test software using Python or similar.
• Execute prototype, qualification and production testing.
• Support hardware verification and system integration.
• Analyse, document and present test results to stakeholders.
• Support laboratory development, equipment selection and test infrastructure.
• Advise design-for-test (DFT) best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test tools and documentation.
• Mentor technicians and support production test activities.
