Job summary

Redwire Space Missions, LLC in Littleton, CO is seeking a Contractor – Electronics Test Engineer (all senior levels) for up to 6 months. You will lead bring-up, functional and design verification testing of spacecraft power electronics boards in a hands-on lab environment.

The role requires 8+ years of hands-on PCB testing, strong root-cause analysis, and familiarity with standard bench instrumentation. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting complex electronic PCBs.
  • Proven ability to isolate and diagnose hardware issues to component level.
  • Direct experience testing power electronics (DC/DC, sequencing, protection).
  • Familiar with bench instrumentation (oscilloscopes, SMUs, electronic loads, DMMs, power analyzers).
  • Onsite lab work with flight hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Perform board-level bring-up, functional and design verification testing on spacecraft power electronics boards.
  • Troubleshoot issues using schematics, layouts, data, and design intent.
  • Analyze anomalies and drive root-cause identification.
  • Use bench instrumentation to validate rails, interfaces, and protection circuits.
  • Document findings and provide feedback to design teams.
  • Support failure analysis and RCCA as needed.
  • Collaborate with software, systems, and manufacturing teams.
