Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring an Electronics Technician 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems team. You will install, maintain, and program electronic security systems such as IDS, ACS and CCTV across federal, local, and commercial clients.

Leadership of teams and on-site supervision are essential. Requirements include 8+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, 3 years in security systems, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and customer programs.
• 3 years of experience focused on electronic security systems.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
• Lead toolbox talks, ORMs and safety audits.
• Install and maintain equipment locally and globally per design packages.
• Program and install head end equipment for IDS, ACS and CCTV systems.
• Troubleshoot systems and hardware and conduct on-site software commissioning.
• Document project progress and RFIs, manage project schedules and labor hours.
