Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit for field installations, maintenance, and testing of security, IT and AV systems across federal, local, and commercial projects.

Candidate must have 6+ years of electronics installation/maintenance experience, HS diploma or GED, and graduate from Electronics Technician program or Apprenticeship; Top Secret with SCI and Polygraph required and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship.
• An additional three years of electronics installation and/or maintenance experience.
• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configure hardware and software, test systems for proper operation, and provide technical support to customers.
• Lead commissioning efforts and coordinate with owners, design teams and project staff.
• Maintain safety and quality documentation and ensure compliance with QC plans.
• Communicate effectively with MC Dean Project Teams, other trades, and customers.
