Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will execute on-site installation, maintenance, and testing of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. The role demands strong problem-solving, teamwork, and proactive communication. As a member of the SES team, you will drive commissioning, organize material staging, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• An additional three years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
• Requires US Citizenship or ability to obtain Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Executes on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Performs site surveys, configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation.
• Provides technical support to customers and communicates with project teams.
• Ensures safety plans and policies are followed, and participates in quality reviews.
• Installs systems, terminates, tests, and configures devices and IT equipment.
• Leads commissioning efforts and coordinates with owners and design teams.
