Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will install, maintain and test IDS, access control, CCTV and related IT systems for federal and commercial customers.

The role requires 8+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, with 3+ years in security systems, strong communication skills and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Military Electronics Training (min 720 classroom hours) or graduation from an electronics program or an electrical apprenticeship.
• An additional three years of electronics installation/maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electronic security systems including IDS, ACS, CCTV.
• Lead site teams on large installation projects with limited supervision.
• Document daily reports, RFIs and project progress.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and safety audits.
• Travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time.
