Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team.

The role involves on-site installation, maintenance, and commissioning of electronic security systems, including intrusion and access control, video surveillance, and IT components. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, electronics program or apprenticeship completion, and 6+ years of electronics experience across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED; electronics technician program or apprenticeship graduate.
• 6+ years electronics installation/maintenance on multiple systems.
• Three additional years of electronics installation/maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic IT tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic security systems.
• Conduct site surveys, configure hardware/software, test operations, and provide customer support.
• Maintain safety documentation and ensure adherence to project safety plans and policies.
• Lead by example, mentor crew members, and coordinate with project teams and owners.
