Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit in a field operations role. You will install, test, and maintain electronic security systems for federal, local and commercial customers.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you support projects across multiple teams and sites. The position requires a HS diploma or GED, electronics technician program completion, and an electrical apprenticeship, plus 6+ years of

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program
• Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program
• An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities
• 6+ years of electronics installation/maintenance activities on multiple systems
• Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills
• Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus

Responsibilities

• Executes various technical tasks and responsibilities within field operations.
• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Ensures the functionality and reliability of various technologies.
• Conducts site surveys, configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation, and provides technical support to customers.
• Leads commissioning efforts, tracking commissioning activities, and representing M.C. Dean in meetings with owners and design teams.
• Communicates with MC Dean Project Teams, other trades, and customers with dedication and collaboration.
• Leads by example, mentors crew members, and encourages strategic thinking and innovation.
• Ensures safety compliance and completes accident/incident reporting.
