Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 4 for the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and integrating electronic security services including IDS, access control, CCTV, and biometric systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, with 3+ years in security systems, and capable of 50% travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems.
• 3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills are required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electronic security systems per design packages.
• Lead and document toolbox talks, ORM and Safety Audits.
• Programming and installation of head end equipment for IDS, ACS and CCTV systems.
• Troubleshooting and isolating systems and/or hardware at local and global levels.
• Lead on-site software commissioning and testing.
• Lead inspections, evaluations and inventory; manage project drawings and RFIs.
• Document daily reports and project progress; communicate issues to management.
• Coordinate project schedule and integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems.
• Forecast and manage project labor hours; mentor technicians.
