Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to lead strategic supply network development and cost management for Anduril Imaging's electronics across lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers, engineering, quality, and manufacturing to secure reliable sourcing.

You will manage electrical BOMs, assess component risk, and drive supplier selection and PCBA procurement improvements, ensuring AS9100 compliance and scalable sourcing as product lines grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics.
• Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering at the component & product level.
• Ability to travel a 10-25% of the time for vendor on-site visits.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate component sourcing paths across product lines.
• Identify & mitigate supply-chain lead-time/sourcing risks, especially for PCBA components.
• Ensure scalability of electronics sourcing strategy as multiple product lines scale to full production.
• Conduct supplier selection across product lines and managing/expanding our approved supplier list.
• Work closely with suppliers to handle and resolve basic technical inquiries, consult with the design engineering team as needed.
• Collaborate with the quality team to ensure AS9100 compliance for any and all production electronics builds.
• Work with the manufacturing team to ensure proper release and transmission of technical data packages within PLM and ERP systems.
• Coordinate with Anduril HQ's PCBA commodity team & resources to streamline Anduril Imaging's PCBA procurement processes.
