SourcePro Search, LLC is seeking an experienced technician to troubleshoot, repair, and analyze returned electronic products. You will mentor junior technicians and contribute to test system development, while collaborating with product development teams to drive design improvements.

The role requires a strong background in electronics repair, soldering of SMT and through-hole components, and proficiency with measurement tools. Independence and teamwork are essential in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or military electronics training or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in component-level troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience soldering fine-pitch SMT and through-hole PCB assemblies.
• Experience with microprocessor- and microcontroller-based products.
• Ability to troubleshoot to component level using schematics and test equipment.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot failures and perform root-cause analysis on returned devices.
• Perform component-level repairs on returned products.
• Collect repair data and maintain repair database.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced technicians.
• Assist with test fixtures and system maintenance including hardware, software, and mechanical components.
• Support development and documentation of troubleshooting protocols.
• Provide feedback to product development teams for design improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
