Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree Electrical Engineering preferred or 5+ years progressive experience in Advanced Purchasing (Electronics) in automotive industry.
3+ years’ Advanced Purchasing Sourcing Specialist (Electronics) experience.
Strong commodity negotiations experience with standard negotiating processes.
High exposure to EOL management and Last Time Buy procedures.
Familiarity with semiconductor suppliers and market dynamics.
Direct working knowledge of automotive industry advanced purchasing requirements/processes.

Responsibilities

Manage BOM, Item Register, IR/QAF, COS, NPSO, invoicing, supplier portal activities and risk evaluations.
Coordinate with New Product Launch and Cost Planning to support BOMs for new programs.
Update opportunity matrix for sourcing insights and negotiations.
Manage EOL situations and Last Time Buy tracking to prevent supply disruption.
Collaborate with Cost Planning to address programs with low operating profit and source components as needed.
Create and maintain business reports and department records.
