Job summary

BYD North America is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead end-to-end programs for Client and Tier-1 OEMs in the electronics sector. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage schedules and risks, and drive NPI readiness from FATP through ramp‑up to mass production.

You will serve as the primary customer interface, negotiating terms, supporting audits, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring profitability and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of project or program management experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of FATP, NPI, and high‑volume production for consumer electronics.
• Proven track record managing complex programs with aggressive timelines.
• Experience in OEM/ODM/EMS environments and related compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for Client and Tier-1 OEMs from initiation through ramp‑up to mass production.
• Act as primary customer interface, managing timelines, deliverables and communications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive program execution.
• Manage schedules, risks, and resources to meet on‑time delivery and cost targets.
• Support contract negotiations and business terms with customers.
• Provide technical and business support during customer meetings and audits.
• Coordinate FATP readiness and factory ramp‑up across client and internal teams.
• Monitor material readiness, demand planning, and capacity to minimize risks.
• Conduct regular project reviews and escalate risks with action plans.
• Assist business development by analyzing roadmaps and contributing to proposals.
