Job summary

Lockheed Martin seeks a Responsible Product Engineer to lead the development and certification of the Flight Computer SBC for the NGI program. You will help advance avionics hardware, oversee integration with subsystems, and drive critical engineering reviews.

The role requires 5+ years in analog/digital electronics, subcontractor coordination, and strong communication skills to document design and test results. Excellent problem solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing analog or digital electronic circuitry.
• Experience as a Responsible Engineer or technical lead for analog/digital electronics.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and certification of a supplier avionics product on a cross-functional team.
• Participate in engineering reviews and hardware discrepancy decisions; support Failure Review Board as needed.
• Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Support End Item Data Package generation and integration into higher assemblies.
• Manage risk and mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission objectives.
