Job summary

Fourier seeks a Senior Electronics & Electrical Lab Technician / Lead to own the build, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of complex electrical/electronic systems. You will mentor junior technicians and collaborate with R&D, electrical, mechanical, controls, and manufacturing teams to bring prototypes from concept to deployment.

Ideal candidates have extensive hands-on experience with both low- and high-voltage systems, electrical safety, and Hi-Pot testing, with the ability to

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on electronics or electrical systems experience.
• Ability to own hardware/projects from build to test.
• Strong experience wiring, testing, and troubleshooting assemblies.
• Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
• Familiar with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, DAQ).

Responsibilities

• Own electrical and electronics lab activities with safe, accurate execution.
• Lead and mentor junior Electronics and Electrical Technicians.
• Establish best practices for assembly, testing, and lab safety.
• Support prioritization and coordination of hands-on activities across projects.
• Maintain lab equipment, calibration, and consumables.
• Build, wire, instrument, test prototype and production assemblies.
• Develop test methods, fixtures, and procedures with engineers.
