Job summary

Fourier Earth, Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support design, integration, and deployment of electrolyzer systems at customer sites. You will lead process design, prototype deployment tools, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across installations.

The role requires 10+ years in process engineering, hands-on piping experience, and familiarity with industry standards. Travel to customer sites is expected, with full-time employment and on-site work in the field.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of process engineering or system integration experience.
• Hands-on piping, valves, and fluid handling experience.
• Experience with novel chemical/electrochemical systems development.
• Solid understanding of Process Safety Management (PHA/HAZOP/HAZID).
• Familiarity with API, ASME, OSHA, EPA, NFPA standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities; travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize the process design of proprietary electrolyzer equipment stacks.
• Design and prototype tools to aid deployment and commissioning at customer sites.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for hydrogen systems.
• Analyze field data with software/controls teams to improve performance.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate third-party certifications (UL, TÜV SÜD) and prepare docs.
