Job summary

Department of the Navy seeks an Electronics Mechanic Leader (Expert) to support multiple naval sites, including Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and Pearl Harbor IMF. You will lead advanced electronics maintenance, mentor technicians, and ensure testing and reliability of complex equipment.

The role requires hands-on expertise, the ability to guide others, and willingness to travel for CONUS assignments. This is a full-time position with relocation assistance and strict compliance with security

Qualifications

• Experience leading electronics maintenance teams.
• Ability to guide removal, overhaul, and testing of electronic equipment.
• Strong knowledge of operation and limitations of electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor staff in removal, disassembly, overhaul, and testing.
• Explain work requirements and procedures, and provide problem-solving guidance.
• Set up and troubleshoot equipment used to manufacture and overhaul ship components.
• Use technical manuals and specs to determine requirements and ensure quality control.
• Ensure safety and compliance during maintenance work.
