Job summary

A leading defense contracting company in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Engineering Technician with a strong electrical background to join their ship modernization teams. The role involves overseeing electrical installations and serving as a technical leader. Qualifications

• Must possess a REAL ID or U.S. Passport.
• Ten years of hands-on experience with Navy HM&E or electronic systems.
• Five to seven years overseeing project-level initiatives.
• Copper Connector Certified & fiber optic experience required.
• Proven ability to supervise technical support teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the electrical SME and project lead.
• Lead electrical teams in cableway management.
• Supervise and mentor junior electricians.
• Maintain and update QA documentation OQE.
• Perform duties as Site Foreman when required.
