Northrop Grumman Staff Electronics Engineer – HW & SW Test in Baltimore, MD, requires a DoD Secret clearance and 12 years in STEM with progressive engineering experience. The role spans design, test, integration, and certification across hardware and software domains.

The candidate will lead test hardware/software efforts, coordinate with manufacturing, perform reviews, and support lifecycle stages from design to flight testing, within a security-cleared environment.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience with a B.S. in a STEM discipline.
• 8 years of System Engineering experience with a M.S. degree.
• 6 years with a Ph.D.

Responsibilities

• Understand design to cost, scope, and schedule.
• Define requirements and derive test hardware and software requirements from specifications.
• Design electromechanical test fixtures & software test solutions.
• Provide manufacturing support during the hardware build process.
• Integrate test fixtures & software into a functioning test solution.
• Test equipment & software certification per customer requirements.
• Test system deployment and factory support.
• Software maintenance and/or hardware fixture update initiatives.
• Conduct reviews of hardware-related products and designs.
