Rolls-Royce is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Indianapolis, IN for a hybrid, full-time role. You will lead development of mechanical control units, guide approved suppliers through design, validation, and production release across the project lifecycle.

The position entails interfacing with external suppliers and internal engine teams, driving risk management, NPI, and change processes, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 2+ years of mechanical design or control systems experience.
• 5+ years preferred in mechanical design or control systems.
• U.S. Citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical control units and oversee design reviews with suppliers.
• Coordinate design, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to meet program needs.
• Identify and manage technical, cost, supply chain, and schedule risks.
• Interface with suppliers and internal engine program teams.
