Battelle is seeking an Electronics and Electrical System Design Engineer in Columbus, OH to design and develop advanced electronic and electromechanical systems for government and industry clients. Onsite work is required for 6–9 months, with potential hybrid scheduling based on contract needs.

The role emphasizes team leadership, system-level design, and rigorous testing across multiple projects, with opportunities to contribute to proposals and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with 5+ years of experience; or related field with 8+ years; or Master's with 5+ years; PhD with 2+ years.
• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering and problem solving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team toward common goals and foster collaboration and technical excellence.
• Create circuit diagrams, review PCB layouts, and generate CAD/CCA documentation.
• Design and develop advanced electronic/electromechanical systems for government/industry customers.
