Dhaka Technologies Limited Company in Blacksburg, Virginia seeks a Sr. Electronics Design Engineer to design and develop electronic hardware for aerospace and defense applications.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in hardware design and circuit design, with relocation assistance available. You will create schematics and PCB layouts, perform hardware integration and testing, support proposals and design reviews, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to meet cost, schedule and performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electronic hardware design experience.
• Experience bringing designs from concept through testing and implementation.
• Familiarity with circuit design, PCB development, embedded hardware, system integration, or hardware verification.

Responsibilities

• Design hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Conduct hardware integration, verification, troubleshooting, and testing
• Support technical project planning, including proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and design reviews
• Ensure traceability between customer requirements and system requirements
• Develop engineering test requirements and unit, subsystem, and system level test plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development lifecycle
• Contribute to the development of new technologies, products, and processes that meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives
