Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to advance its MANET radios and R&D projects in West Los Angeles. The role focuses on electronics hardware and PCBA design, with a hybrid schedule requiring three onsite days weekly.

You will collaborate across hardware, software, FPGA, and RF teams to deliver high-performance, low-noise designs for mission-critical applications, while meeting EMI and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum six years of mixed-signal PCB design involving audio and SoCs.
• Experience with USB 3.0, 10Gb Ethernet, I2C, RS232 at hardware level.
• Experience designing power supplies for high efficiency and low noise.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to federal contracts.

Responsibilities

• Component selection, schematic capture, and PCB design for FPGA SoC systems.
• Design high-fidelity mixed-signal audio circuitry with low noise.
• Define PCB stack up and routing rules to meet performance.
• Perform hardware bring-up and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with PCB Designers, Software, FPGA, and RF teams.
• Ensure EMI‑free designs suitable for high EMI environments.
