The ideal candidate has deep experience with embedded controls, sensors, power electronics, and regulatory standards, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering; master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in appliances, HVAC, or related product development.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical system design interactions.
• Experience with embedded control systems, sensors, and power electronics.
• Proven leadership from concept through production launch.
• Familiarity with regulatory and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level design and development of electronic controls for water heating appliances.
• Define architectures, requirements, interfaces, and performance specs.
• Develop verification plans and conduct FMEA, design reviews, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, firmware, software, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Support regulatory certification activities and field issue investigations.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
