Job summary

Rheem North America is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer (Electronics) to lead the architecture development and feature deployment for electronic controls in Water Heating and related solutions.

The role includes defining controller system architecture, coordinating with software, hardware, test, and product teams, and guiding verification activities. Hybrid work arrangement applies with in-office presence Monday-Thursday and remote Fridays, based in Montgomery, AL or Roswell, GA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in embedded microprocessor-based controls development/testing.
• 3+ years of team leadership in projects with embedded controllers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and extension of system architecture for electronic controller applications.
• Take the lead in project management for electronic control system development and verification activities.
• Oversee system work product reviews and ensure closure before release of design documents.
