Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Senior Product Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supply network development and cost management across our Electromagnetic Warfare product portfolio, in collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

You will lead supplier selection, cost engineering, and BOM development to enable agile production, while managing NPI CAPEX and risk assessments, with travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or other technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
• Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level.
• Ability to travel 10% - 40% of the time.
• Ability to relocate, onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection for a specific product using the approved supplier list.
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via concept scoping, trade-off analyses, and should-cost models.
• Develop and consolidate manufacturing BOMs with Quality & Manufacturing to ramp production.
• Manage CAPEX throughout NPI and lead cost engineering activities to converge to product cost.
