Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in San Diego is seeking an experienced assembler to build power supplies, PC boards, and subassemblies under limited supervision. You will follow drawings, wire lists, components and schematics to assemble and test units using hand tools, soldering irons and test equipment.

You will identify parts, perform set-ups and align components, while adhering to safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certificate in related field and 5-10 years of directly related experience, and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, soldering irons, and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follows production drawings, sample assemblies and verbal instructions with minimum supervision.
• Reads worksheets and wiring diagrams, selects components and mounts them on panels or boards.
• Inspects parts, performs basic tests and reworks defective units as needed.
