Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Assembler to perform bench and line subassembly operations. Under supervision, you will produce mechanical assemblies, make minor adjustments, and follow defined workmanship practices.

You will read drawings and schematics, use precision instruments, and perform basic tests with multimeters, oscilloscopes and other tools to ensure quality as products move along the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with vocational/technical training.
• 0–2 years of related assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and bills of materials.
• Strong mathematical skills for measurements and sizing.

Responsibilities

• Follows production drawings, sample assemblies and verbal instructions with close supervision.
• Interprets schematics, drawings, work instructions and bills of materials to identify required parts and steps.
