Job summary

Teledyne API, a Teledyne Technologies Incorporated unit, seeks an Assembler, Electronics/Electro-Mech. 3 to perform a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical subassemblies.

You will build power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, PC boards, and more under limited supervision. The role requires reading drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions, plus manual dexterity with hand tools and soldering equipment.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical Certificate in related field.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of directly related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electromechanical schematics/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Follow production drawings and verbal instructions to assemble components with minimal supervision.
• Interpret schematics and bills of materials to identify parts and steps.
• Mount and connect components, including transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, and ICs.
• Perform soldering, de-soldering, and testing of assembled units to meet specs.
• Operate hand and small power tools and conduct basic inspections.
• Maintain quality checks throughout manufacturing and document production records.
