Job summary

Ingram Micro Inc. is seeking an assembler to build electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies according to precise specifications. You will follow wiring, soldering, and cable harnessing practices, ensuring tolerances are met and potential malfunctions are corrected.

The role fits seasoned contributors capable of working with limited supervision, providing training to others, and applying judgement to non-routine tasks. A two-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Seasoned individual contributor with ability to work under limited supervision.
• Experience mentoring or training lower level employees.
• Ability to analyze non-routine problems and adjust methods as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assembles electronic or electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies per specifications.
• Follows procedures for wiring, soldering, component installation and cable harnessing.
• Disassembles and corrects malfunctions and may assemble test kits or packing/labeling tasks.
